Laser Distance Sensors for hot surfaces and bright environments LUMOS laser distance sensors measure and monitor distances up to 500 meters with millimeter accuracy. Measuring targets can be almost any natural surface, including liquids.
The LUMOS series is specialized for measuring on hot surfaces, for example red hot glowing steel, or in bright outdoor environments with high percentage of constant or stray light.
Easy system integration

LUMOS distance meters are IP67 proof and dedicated for system integration. RS232, RS422, RS485, SSi and Profibus interfaces are available, as well as digital switching outputs, analog output and trigger. For convenient data display and parameterization, LUMOS sensors are equipped with display and keypad.

The LDS30 laser distance sensor is designed for applications that require instantly triggered and very fast data acquisition. The compact sensor provides measurement rates as fast as 30 kilohertz within a measurement range of up to 250 meters and an absolute accuracy in the centimeter range. The laser distance sensor operates completely eye-safe using invisible laser light at 905 nanometers wavelength.

Construted for flexible system integration

The LDS30 laser distance sensor is optimized for system integration. It is fitted into a ready-to-use IP67 proof housing. The distance sensor is shock- and vibration- proof and thus optimally suited for installation into harsh industrial automation environments.

The opto-electronic laser distance meters of the LDM302 product series measure distances and speed in a non contact fashion and also without reflectors. The fast measuring rates enable reliable measurement of or from moving objects. The optical and non-wearing time-of-flight (TOF) measuring principle is ideally suited for large measurement ranges of several hundreds of meters and for harsh industrial environments. The LDM302 sensors enable fast and absolute measurements with high precision. The laser distance meters of the LDM302 series are optimized for close-up and far range measurements on surfaces of low reflectivity, for example matt or rusty steel surfaces of ship hulls or containers.

Maximum flexibility by comfortable configuration options and modular setup
RS232 and RS422 are available as interface options. Programmable switching output, analog output, setting of customer specific parameters are only a few options warranting flexibilty in use and ease of integration into industrial automation systems and process controls.

The LDM302 laser distance meters standard delivery include automated heating, status display and adjusting aid or ssighting devices. The modular device setup allows for easy complementation with accessories or special models for particular applications.
